Sterling silver earrings depicting the phenomenon of “Earthshine”, or “Full Earth” as my friend likes to call it, which is when the light from the sun is bouncing off the Earth onto the moon, lighting it up. They have been oxidised in order to highlight the difference between this part of the moon and the crescent.
They measure approximately 10mm across, and have been patinated to bring out the dark and light of the subject.
